I'm extending the $1 sale to the first 100 purchases, please rate my app if you like it :) I know it's relatively new and you must be asking why would I pay when there's free versions out there? Well it's mostly about quality (most other apps don't look right on tablets, or in landscape etc...), but also because I'm adding a ton of DIY combos (like you can see in the screenshot), as well as tag combos as I go along. It's not just the built in stuff. Since some combos are ridiculously long, I've had to make a new set of directional icons etc... so it's actually very clear and readable.
This app is an MK9 trainer for players wanting to learn to get better at the game, or expand the moves you know. With comfort :) Designed by a die hard MK player for die hard MK players!
It supports:

-New custom made combos will be added soon for each character as I go along. I'm also going to add tactics on how to face each fighter online in style so you can become a well rounder fighter :)
If you find that any info is incorrect please let me know and i'll fix it :)
Note: Some characters have some names that are a little hard for voice recognition to get right. I've added some fuzzy matching technology to help out. for example showing Shang Tsung when it hears you say 'sang soon'. If you find that you can't say a characters name because it keeps recognizing some other words, tell me what they are (if they're consistent) and i'll add it to my fuzzy matches so it gets even better.

UPDATE - I just built a custom MK9 Arcade stick from scratch. My app will include instructions with photos shortly so you can make your own for about $80.
